Hasbrouck Heights

This homeowner wanted their Emporia EV charging station installed inside of their garage in Hasbrouck Heights. Their concerned was that they were going to be moving in the next year or two and wanted to be able to take the charging station with them.

The best solution in this situation was to install a 50 amp outlet. This is more expensive than hard-wiring since it requires a heavy duty outlet and an expensive GFCI breaker. However, we were still able to fit it into the PSEG EV charger installation rebate limit so the customer paid $0 in the end.
