JuiceBox in Ridgewood

Eric in RIdgewood had a JuiceBox EV Charger that he wanted to use in his garage. It has a 50 Amp plug on it so we needed to install a 50 Amp outlet nearby.  He wanted it in the center of his 2 car garage so that he could charge both of his electric vehicles. 

Due to code change in 2024 we now have to provide GFCI protection for outlets used for EV charging, we accomplished this using a 50 Amp GFCI breaker to feed this circuit.  We also used an industrial grade 50 Amp outlet to ensure it can handle the continuous current draw of an EV charger.
